    The T.W.I.N.K.I.E.S. Project

First of all: why did I have to add "Science" as a category on MSN Spaces?  Stuff like this website has to go some place.

Second: it's been 10 years since the seminal work was done?  Where are all the courageous and curious scientists who should be extending -- or at least duplicating -- these important findings?

I'm so disillusioned....don't even look at me right now....

    YouthGlue

So I've hooked my youth group up with YouthGlue.  Pretty amazing stuff.  If we wanted to, we could use YouthGlue as our database for the program; but I have some security concerns with information on minors being entered online...even if the database itself is secure, the html pages aren't.

Still....YouthGlue -- a great communication medium for youth groups.

    Microsoft, the UberWare

Hey MS-haters!  How's this grab ya?
    1. Nearly every virus, trojan, worm, etc., targets Microsoft stuff
    2. Microsoft innoculates its customers' machines against every threat
    3. Mac, Unix, Linux, etc., do not get targeted.
    4. Mac, Unix, Linux, etc., do not develop the "antibiotics" necessary to protect their customers
    5. Microsoft adapts to threats and overcomes them, becoming stronger with each attack.

Conclusion: Microsoft survives because it is the fittest.

    I'll stick with Microsoft.

    MS Speech recognition

So I discovered Microsoft voice command and I'm using it to compose this blog entry.  it's a real time saver as long as you have time to do the training that Microsoft asks you to do . I've already composed letters and emails and all sorts of other things in probably half the time that it would normally take me to type it all out .

As far as I know it comes standard with Microsoft office 2003 . Check it out .

    Cheers ,

Have you heard about Skype yet?

DL this awesome program.  Skype-to-Skype voice calls are free.  With "SkypeOUT", you can call any phone in the world for cheap.  I love it!
